I took this picture early afternoon today. A young hawk (we aren’t sure which type) we have so many different ones in the area. Mostly we see Red Tailed Hawks on our property daily.
I was in the car drivers seat, rolled the passenger window down and zoomed through a maze of branches to get these 2 shots of the hawk.

A very handsome feathered friend, and in a much more picturesque setting than a similar bird we saw this past week (ours was eating a dead possum by the side of the road).
